Our story
Golf Club Holidays was founded on a simple observation: in a world of Airbnb and booking.com, the one thing that was almost impossible to find was a genuinely personalised, hands-on travel experience — particularly for a trip as specific as a golf and spa holiday.
The serious golf operators didn't really care about the spa. The luxury travel companies didn't know a scratch handicap from a nine-iron. And the big platforms just showed you a list of rooms and let you get on with it.
We built something different. A service where everything — flights, transfers, tee times, spa treatments, room upgrades, dinner reservations — is handled by one person who has actually thought about your trip. You make one call. You don't chase anyone. You just show up.

We combine world-class golf courses, award-winning spa and treatment facilities, and some of the best food and wine you'll find at a resort — across Europe, Morocco, the Canary Islands, Mexico and Mauritius.
Championship courses worth travelling for. We know every property in our portfolio — which ones suit low handicappers, which are beautiful but forgiving, which ones you'll talk about long after you're home.
Not a token wet room and a treatment list. Proper destination spas — thermal pools, hammam, thalasso, cryo — where the non-golfer in the group is just as well looked after as the one with the handicap card.
A serious wine list, a great terrace restaurant, a kitchen that takes it seriously. Our guests research restaurants alongside golf courses. The evening matters as much as the round.
Why now
There is a cultural shift underway. A new generation of travellers is drinking less, prioritising health, and thinking about how they feel on the last day of a trip as much as the first. Wellness has moved from afterthought to primary consideration — even on a golf holiday.
The same person who wants a great round of golf also wants a recovery session, a treatment room, and a spa their partner will genuinely enjoy. These are not contradictory desires. They are the same person, with broader expectations than the market has traditionally served.
That audience is growing. We think the opportunity is significant now — and it is only going to get bigger.

What makes us different
People often assume a specialist costs more. It does not. We are paid by the hotels, not by you — which means our interests are aligned. We want to send you to the right place, because that is the only way you come back to us.
Before we recommend anything, we find out what you actually want. Who is travelling, what matters most to each person, how many rounds, how much recovery time. One size does not fit all — so we do not pretend it does.
Every resort on our site has been assessed on golf, spa, food, and setting. We work with a deliberately small number of properties — if it is here, it genuinely met the bar.
We take a commission from our partner hotels, which means you never pay more by coming through us. In fact, we often negotiate added value — upgrades, green fee inclusions, spa credits — that you would not get booking on your own.
From first enquiry to the day you get home, we are your single point of contact. If anything goes wrong before or during your trip, you call us — not a call centre — and we sort it.
