How long should a couples' golf retreat be?

Five nights is the sweet spot for most couples — long enough to settle into the resort properly and fit in two or three rounds alongside spa time, without requiring too many days away. Seven nights works well for long-haul destinations (Mauritius, South Africa, Mexico) where the journey merits a longer stay. Three nights is ideal for a European city-break length trip when the focus is more on the experience than volume of golf.
